In your response paper, you will write a focused critical response to an episode from Parts Unknown. Your paper should include a thesis/argumentative statement. Develop your argument by drawing on evidence from the episode. Consider what Bourdain and his team accomplish in the particular episode you have chosen. Identify ideas, arguments, and moods that are either implicit or direct. What presuppositions is this episode making about diversity and how the world works? What role does food play? You can also consider if something surprised you about the episode. Did this episode evoke certain feelings or atmospheres? What did you learn?
